I paint, write, take photographs and draw because I feel the urge to knit my inner visions into the real world; or the other way around - I'm not too sure. Basically though, playing with words and rhythms, colours and shapes is what keeps me feeling real and alive. I can't just drift through life from television show to workplace boredom to banal conversation. The pitch and toss of experience is too painful or magical, too beautiful or horrible (and sometimes both at once) to endure it all without trying to express it. This is for me.
